The business behind the brief

Cinder Ridge Transport is a fictional flatbed and project-freight carrier created to explore a more detailed trucking website for open-deck freight.

The design brief

Show a specialist open-deck carrier clearly and professionally. Help customers understand the information needed before equipment, availability and rates can be discussed.

What we designed

  • Designed a custom ridge symbol and typographic identity in charcoal, off-white and copper.
  • Used wide authentic night photography and a clear editorial layout to establish the open-deck specialism.
  • Built accessible freight selectors for materials, machinery and project freight.
  • Created a structured shipment inquiry with dimensions, handling, locations and delivery details.
Mobile version of Cinder Ridge Transport

Built for the small screen, too.

Readable service information, a usable menu and an inquiry form that works on a phone.

The finished work

A specialist-carrier website concept showing load-planning information and a sample inquiry form for freight dimensions, handling requirements, pickup and delivery details. The design demonstrates how an open-deck carrier could organize information before discussing equipment suitability, scheduling or rates.

This is a demonstration of our design work, not a client endorsement. Sample forms do not submit or book freight. Industry photographs are used illustratively.
