- CVE-2026-14877, 10 Oct 2026
- The Data Tables Generator by Supsystic plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the id attribute in all versions up to, and including, 1.12.03 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE record
- CVE-2026-96648, 10 Oct 2026
- The Data Tables Generator by Supsystic plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Table Cell 'data' Value via updateRows Action in all versions up to, and including, 1.15.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is only exploitable by Subscriber-level users when an administrator has added their role to the plugin's 'access_roles' setting, which is a documented and explicitly supported plugin feature that grants lower-privileged users access to the dtgs_nonce required to reach the vulnerable updateRows action handler. CVE record
- CVE-2025-12089, 13 Nov 2025
- The Data Tables Generator by Supsystic plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the cleanCache() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.10.45. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). CVE record
- CVE-2022-2114, 17 Jul 2022
- The Data Tables Generator by Supsystic WordPress plugin before 1.10.20 does not sanitise and escape some of its Table settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example in multisite setup) CVE record
- CVE-2020-12075, 23 Apr 2020
- The data-tables-generator-by-supsystic plugin before 1.9.92 for WordPress lacks capability checks for AJAX actions. CVE record
- CVE-2020-12076, 23 Apr 2020
- The data-tables-generator-by-supsystic plugin before 1.9.92 for WordPress lacks CSRF nonce checks for AJAX actions. One consequence of this is stored XSS. CVE record
What to do if you run Data Tables Generator by Supsystic
If you run Data Tables Generator by Supsystic, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.

After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
