- CVE-2026-107712, 10 Oct 2026
- The WP Booking System - Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'current_month' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.0.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is a regression vulnerability - a capability check introduced in versions 2.0.19.11-2.0.19.14 to address CVE-2024-50425 was removed in version 2.1, meaning any authenticated subscriber-level account can reach the vulnerable handler with no nonce validation required. - CVE-2024-8797, 14 Sep 2024
- The WP Booking System - Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg & remove_query_arg without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.19.8. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. CVE record
- CVE-2021-25061, 17 Jan 2022
- The WP Booking System WordPress plugin before 2.0.15 was affected by a reflected xss in wp-booking-system on the wpbs-calendars admin page. CVE record
- CVE-2019-12239, 20 May 2019
- The WP Booking System plugin 1.5.1 for WordPress has no CSRF protection, which allows attackers to reach certain SQL injection issues that require administrative access. CVE record
What to do if you run WP Booking System
If you run WP Booking System, open WordPress and check the installed version in Plugins. Compare it with the affected versions in the vulnerability record. If a fixed version is available, take a current backup and update to that version or the latest supported release.
If no fixed version exists, consider disabling and removing the plugin or replacing it with a maintained alternative. After dealing with the affected software, check administrator users, unexpected file changes, redirects, unfamiliar pages and security logs for signs that the site may already have been altered.
